What is my2K?
my2K is a user account system used across a variety of 2K products. Currently, it appears in a handful of our recent mobile games, as well as the official 2K website.
After signing up through one of our connected titles, you can manage your account by visiting http://www.mmocs.com.

Is my2K the same as the “My2K” or “MyPLAYER” accounts in NBA titles?
No. my2K is a new account system for all 2K products and is not currently related to NBA accounts. Players will have to create a new account with my2K. If you need help with MyPLAYER in NBA 2K, please read this article on NBA MyPLAYER account verification.

My2K says my email address isn’t verified. How can I verify my email address?
To verify your email address, you must click on the verification link sent to your email address.
NOTE: If you received multiple verification emails, please use the most recent one. After receiving a new email, the links in any older verification emails will no longer be valid.

Help, I never received my verification email!
If you did not receive a verification email, you should first make sure it didn’t get caught in a spam filter. If you still can’t find it, you can visit the 2K website, click on the “Missing verification email?” link, and enter your email address. This will immediately send you a new verification email.
NOTE: The links in all old verification emails will now be unusable.

This happens when clicking on links in old emails. If you received multiple verification emails, for example, only the links in the latest verification email are valid. You can always resend the email from the 2K website to guarantee you are responding to the latest email.

How did my account get locked?
Accounts are locked after too many login attempts are made with the wrong email address and/or password. The account will remain locked for 15 minutes.

My2K says my account is locked. How can I unlock it?
The only way to unlock an account is to wait. The account will automatically become unlocked in 15 minutes of inactivity. Once unlocked, if you may need to reset your password if you continue to have issues logging in.

This is an indication that you already have an account. The best thing to do is to visit the 2K website and reset your password.

Why doesn’t my2K let me create an account or log in if I don’t accept the Terms of Service or don’t allow Access Permissions?
We require all users to accept the Terms of Service and allow Access Permissions without exception.

How do I stop these annoying verification emails from being sent?
You can click the verification link in the email and complete the account verification. You may also click the other link in the email signaling that you do not want to sign up for my2K, in which case your account will be deleted.
