Old School RuneScape mobile reaches 5 million downloads

In a press release, Jagex said that the game in all of its incarnations hit its highest-ever paid membership and monthly active users. Thanks to the testing and launch of both mobile versions of the client, the paid subscriber count has crossed the one million mark. Additionally, Old School RuneScape Mobile has clocked over five million downloads since its launch last year. Altogether, the franchsise has made over a billion dollars since its debut 18 years ago.

Mobile edition of Old School RuneScape has been doing pretty great as well and it’s not like the latest milestone comes as much of a surprise. Namely, Jagex have already revealed that the game’s first two weeks on mobile saw the game exceeded one million downloads in eight different countries.

Old School RuneScape was released in October 2018 for Android and iOS devices. Phil Mansell, the CEO of Jagex, said: “2018 was a fantastic year for our RuneScape games, which have truly come of age. The franchise has been growing consistently for five years and we’ve seen a surge of further community growth with the move to mobile. If you want to know where to buy OSRS GP, z2u.com will be your best choice.

“Old School RuneScape’s successful mobile launch was made possible by our incredible team, who’ve been able to make this classic game play smoothly in a mobile form factor and which allows players to enjoy the convenience of completely interoperable PC to mobile cross-play.

Mansell is aware of that as well and he said, “We find that the more we listen to, engage with, and empower the community the more if fosters a true connection; with each other and with the games. The big increases we’re seeing in both membership and active users show that we’re not only able to bring new players into RuneScape but we’re able to offer the kind of rich, evergreen content that keeps them engaged for the long term.”

Amazon Games has officially launched Crucible

Amazon Games has officially launched Crucible, one of the two titles it’s been planning to release this year. The free-to-play third-person shooter is now available on Steam, and logging in before 11:59 PM PST on June 1st/2:59AM EST on June 2nd will earn players 1,000 in-game Credits for free.

Crucible has 10 hunters to choose from at launch, including robotic botanist Bugg (pictured above), who’s the game’s obvious poster child. Each hunter has their own weapons and abilities that they must use to defeat not just opponents, but also the planet’s flora and fauna.

Each character in Crucible has unique abilities and weapons that can be upgraded over the course of a match, modifying and enhancing their abilities as the game progresses. Unusually, those unlocks are pre-selected at the start of each game rather than on the fly, which in theory at least should enable you to more effectively plan and pursue your upgrade path. If you want to buy Crucible Accounts, we z2u.com can give you a very low price, welcome to buy.

The game has also launched with three game modes. “Heart of the Hives” is a 4 vs. 4 battle mode against giant boss Hives that spawn throughout the world, while the “Alpha Hunters” mode pits eight teams of two against each other. Finally, in “Harvester Command” mode, two teams of eight battle to capture and activate essence harvesters across the map.

For now, Crucible is in its eight-week pre-season, during which “players can learn the game, discover and build skill playing their favourite hunters, and begin honing their strategy before Season 1 kicks off”. A purchasable pre-season battle pass will let you complete challenges to unlock rewards, including cosmetics for characters and your account – just as any battle pass would.

Hotel Dash puts the well-known characters of Quinn and Flo into an all new hotel setting

PlayFirst has announced the upcoming launch of Hotel Dash: Suite Success, the latest addition to the company’s Dash series of time management games. Hotel Dash will feature Flo and Quinn (the stars of PlayFirst’s Diner Dash and Wedding Dash series’, respectively), as they embark on a new business venture as the managers of a chain of themed hotels.

Starting with a ramshackle hotel in DinerTown, players help Flo launch Quinn’s new travel business by running themed hotels, managing the flow of new and familiar guests, and fulfilling their unique needs and requests in order to earn tips to refurbish hotels.

The gameplay sends players up and down the elevator with the goal of keeping everything in order so customers remain happy. Tasks include delivering luggage, handing off fresh towels and providing room service, while attending to room mishaps and customer whims.  Players must travel from top floors to the lobby via the hotel elevators, ensuring smooth hotel operations and collecting tips upon checkout. Juggling customer demands with logistics and an ever-ticking clock, players must be strategic in organizing their time versus customers’ patience and personalities. If you are in lack of Hotel Dash Money, visit our site z2u.com, a reliable and cheap online in-game currency store.

As the game progresses, players can manage customer temperament by delivering mood-brightening extras, like floral arrangement and gift baskets. With their earnings, players can then upgrade the rooms and common areas of the hotel, fully renovating them and expanding Quinn’s new business. As the business succeeds, Quinn and Flo will tackle additional hotels, with themes ranging from ski retreat to city getaway, taking on new challenges and challenging new guest types.

“Hotels are funny and romantic, and all about customer service,” said Kenny Shea Dinkin, Chief Creative Officer at PlayFirst. “With Hotel Dash: Suite Success, we’ve introduced a new vertical, timing element to the Diner Dash series, set against an exciting and spoofy hotel-culture backdrop. So with its set of new, quirky and demanding DinerTown guests (sleepwalkers, anyone?) Hotel Dash has players strategically maneuvering to help the clientele across multiple floors of five hilarious hotels.”
